Is this board intended for downhill carving primarily???? Are those wheels too grippy for flatland skating??? Looks a lot of fun, but we don't exactly
have any large paved roads in my town. Or should I just look for an actual longboard.

It's designed for downhill or flat land carving. It'd take a bit to get the "slicks" to break away, as the trucks are kind of designed to keep the
tires glued to the pavement.
If you are looking for controlled sliding/drifting, I would think that you would go with urethane wheels.... but that kind of requires pave roads.

Nope I just want to skate around town on the miles of bike paths. I'll leave the sliding to dirt hills. I tested a loaded pintail, and loved the fast
carving, but found it a tad unstable once I was able to get to speed. This looks super stable, and fun. Wondering what ground shipping would be like.

shaggs, this may get a little squirrelly for your taste....try a drop-thru mounted longboard with reverse kingpin trucks and wheels that are at least
77mm it should be ideal
Yeah tried a loaded dervish a guy was using the other night, at the park. Much more stable than the pintail, lower to the ground felt better. I went
and looked for one in our skate shop, alas I'm not really wanting to spend $400 atm. Thought this would do in the mean time. No replies though so I'm
gonna look else where.

yeah I messaged a couple times and no reply, so I figure he might not have meant a sale or is in between. No problem, if you want it Phree then its
your for the taking. I'm gonna see if the local shop will order me some urethane wheels for the atb. They should roll just as easy as a longboard,
plus they have a bigger clearance for small rocks on the pavement.
