It's a deal at the moment. Seller has only 8 transactions. That causes me to pause.

That's what I was thinking..... sellers feedback has always been as a buyer.....

Gen I Sabre is circa 2005 or before, so unless it's been sitting in a closet or has received love and PBJs with the crust trimmed off along the way it could be in rough shape.

With the possible exception of the last photo of the kite in the bag all the pics look like PR photos pulled from the web. Prefer to see actual photos of the kite being sold.

Those are my nits, but their might be valid reasons (kite is at his son's place and they didn't get a chance to hook up for photos).

Regardless, pricewise it's a good deal... considering the number of bids, I expect there will be a sniping war in the last 00:01:30 of the auction.

Seller could be perfectly fine.... he says he's selling for his son, so he could just have been a buyer up until this point. I have good feedback on eBay... but haven't sold anything there.

as always Indigo_wolf is right on.

looking at the bid history-it's apparent one user has set a pretty high max bid, as ebay keeps auto-upping his amount when someone else bids.

would expect this to finish the auction and sell at around 300.

Sold for $184.97 plus shipping...... hope someone got a great kite...... would have been nice to see more than just the bag.....

Still heck of a deal. Flexifoil kind of let their depower (not including LEIs) line just wither and die. Just pulled the plug after the Sabre II. Always caused me to scratch my head a bit.
