buggy skates

I've seen a lot of variations of buggy skates but the ones I'm intrested in Claud from Montreal had at WBB this spring. They were made from either nylon or hdpe about an inch thick. I think the blade was glued in place. Does anyone have any ideas on what kinds of issues I'd be getting into with hdpe (much cheaper than nylon). Ability to withstand cold, resistance to sideload flex, what glue might be best? Thanks in advance.
