i like my dakine speed seat
i think its actually a windsurfing harness but it works really well and it is not very thick, at someplaces its just two layers of fabric
it makes it very easy to sit in and move around in. plus it just uses a strap for the bar so you can have a sliding bar if you use a 6" bar

peter lynn divine. Very thin design and does not have straps going through your crotch to smash the family jewels

I agree with Dino, the PL Divine is awesome. Another one that gets used a lot here is the Ozone Access SB harness.

PL Divine Harness:

Another option is the PL base harness, very close to the Access SB harness in design and a little less than the Divine:

Hope that helps.

The PL Divine looks interesting. The Ozone straps do get annoying.

I am not a fan of the Ozone SB harness. It is so stiff I find it imposible to properly cinch the straps without help. Then while wearing it, it always feels as though my pants are falling down... Maybe it's just me...

That is the great thing about the Peter Lynn Divine Harness. It does not get your patties in a bunch.

I know you have been out of touch for awhile so let me help you get up to date with the newer equipment. The Peter Lynn Divine harness was designed by buggy riders for buggy riders. It was released back in 2010. It is used by the top riders in the Europe race Circuit. Also a guy named Arjen van der Tol aka Fastest Arie (I believe you already know him) broke his own buggy speed record using a Extreme Apexx buggy and Peter Lynn Vapor kite ... and yes he was wearing a Peter Lynn Divine harness. Also an added bonus is Peter Lynn has a number of different spreader bar options to suit any riding style.

Here is the video in case you missed it. http://vimeo.com/10801965

I hope that clears things up.

Plus one for the Divine harness. I have 1 for me in medium and an extra small for Wexler, my 16 year old. You just forget you have a harness on when wearing it. I had an Ozone harness and it was really bad about squeezing the jewels. They might've gotten around that with later releases.

That was changed from the 2009 to 2010 versions. Overall changes included:

  • New webbing loop for Megatron to attach flat so it doesn’t twist. (which replaced the two-tier D-ring).

  • Leg straps attached at a more ergonomic angle. Distributes vertical loads between the attachment point and leg padding without squashing the family jewels.

  • Spliced Amstel back leash line or cargo attachment for towing sleds.

  • New stealth black print and embroidery.

ATB,
Sam
