This is my delorme.
I use a RAM mount to mount it to the downtube of my buggy.

Link to GPS and mount

This is the first thing I found to show this etrex holder that Popeye made. He made the whole buggy actually but there is a shot of the gps holder in there.

I generally run with my iphone in a pocket (wrapped in a plastic bag to keep the sand out) and an app running to capture all that data... Generally works just fine...

Drew, believe me. I know how good its' going to be once it's cool enough to get out there. You know the Hero was supposed to be for me but I'm a tad um...... plus size in all directions. When I saw how good and safe my son looked in it, I had to take it home with me. That prompted the Apexx purchase since my Ivanpah was shipping out the next week. So now ole H 140 is US 88!

I just stick mine to the down tube with shock cord that is wrapped around the tube. Works great. Industrial velcro works well too as a low cost solution..

Don't buy a Magellan. I bought one of the lower end Triton series with the color screen. Churned through batteries at an awesome rate and then one day I turned it on to be greeted by this message:

When I rang the Aus distributor they told me to ship it to them and they'll re-flash the unit. For $114.00. I basically told them to "p*ss off" - I can go and buy a Garmin Etrex for less than that. The nerve of a company to charge more than the price of a unit to fix a software fault that was THEIR FAULT to start with.

Won't be buying Magellan again.

The little yellow Etrex has been going well with great battery life.
