Back in the Saddle ( kind of)

Well the leg is coming along and recently had the good fortune of meeting a kiter from Quebec. Thanks again Jean, had a blast meeting you and enjoyed the bug. Hope you enjoyed the playa and hope to meet again someday.
I've always rode Flexi's and tried a few Pl's but found them too light for my build and weight and probably my aggressive style and addiction to air time. (killed 3 axles )
I know I'm getting old because can't for the life of me remember the brand of the buggy. First full race bug I'd ever seen outside of pictures, Monster tires and frame to what I'm use too.
Just happened to be driving the Suburban when we met and have never taken the kites out. The crops are off most fields around here so endless runs and geese and deer to chase...lol. Did have a real blast this buggy stuck to the ground like glue. Had a chance to run the Sabre and the Scorpion. Beautiful days and sweet winds and a new friend. Sure been missing it, but think I'd be afraid to try the spins the Flexi went thru.

Congrats on the comeback! I know you were in a heck of a time a couple of months ago! Glad you are feeling better and able to get out! Glad you didn't sell all your gear!

I am glad to hear your feeling good enough to kite again, but I am not sorry you sold you buggy. It has been awesome. Six months of GP and I still have not dropped in to see a welder. Way better than my previous bug.
