It's a great concept but the maritime community doesn't get the joke and pretty much refuses to embrace it. Dave Culp published a detailed study on
the concept and with Dean Jordan, produced and tested a few proto-types on their concept of this in the '80s. It's been done a few times prior to them
so the "Idea" has been floating around for awhile.

That's interesting Ken. I was thinking that the price of fuel would steer shipping companies towards the concept, at least for cargo that can take its
time getting from point A to B. Oh well, maybe one day.
