I have always wanted a tube kite… but I dunno. The wind out here is always really crappy, and I don't want to have to deal with the fear of popping something/valve degradation over time >.<

What year are the kites? Any leaks, repairs? Are they bow or C-kites?

This is the first time I've ever seen 11 and 13 meter inflatos referred to as "light wind" kites. What do you weigh, 60 lbs? I've got a 20m Best Waroo. Now -thats- a light wind kite! (Just teasing... ).

I guess these are not beginner kites so I will be passing, great price though!

Power on 13m is almost the same as 15-16m bow/sle when using standard 23m lines.

I fly mine on 24m+6m extensions, with my weight 200lbs and beginner/intermediate skill can go as low as 12knts on 150 Mako, 10knts with a 6'6" surfboard, so it has roughly the same power as my 17m Waroo on 27m lines.

Under appreciated good kites, good materials and construction quality, decent wind range, relatively good depower (even with 9" bar throw).

Not beginner friendly only because it needs constant back lines tension as it will overfly fast and just dives down. Once learned very easy and predictable.
Reverse launch comes handy (mid wind range and up), practice needed to avoid yarding :-)

BTW; EH does not sell 13m anymore as the newest 11m has almost identical wind range.

I'LL take the 11mm.

Unfortunately EH closed shop this year..... He'll be coming out with stuff under a diff name soon, i bet....His designs are always pushing limits of what can be done w/ kites...

Someone scoop that octane 7, it's just a GREAT kite. I absolutely absoluely LOVE my 5m as my high-wind tool.

The mako is 2009-10, not sure which...... The only thing I ride anymore are surfboards....

You would need some serious power for it at your size... A friend of mine at 230lbs has a hard time on it unless hes seriously powered....

Yeah I switch to my small boards when I get powered up on the big kites ... gives me another 5 knots of range but it depends on the kite - the Speed's make so much lift that it's really only the utter bottom end that I need the 'door. Arcs and LEIs on the other hand ...

No you're right mate - local sales get priority IMO for the benefit of the seller ... shipping, boxing etc is time-consuming and we all have to sell our gear at big discounts so ...

We bought our PL STD from Born2fly. The Kidd and I have worked that buggy a lot since then. He's a good seller and we got just what he said we would.
