Jaymz check those rims for cracks around the hub. The guy that made them used the wrong material and it was too soft.
Jim is right, it is a full race with an upgrade moonlight fork. Nice setup.

Thanks for the heads up Jon. Checked the wheels and all look good. I'll keep an eye out.
Still waiting to get the chance to ride the Libre.
Recently installed the barrows for a planned tarmac session. The front axle/spacer was hell to remove with a big hammer and dowel. Cleaned and greased
the axle.
Now if we could just get a DRY Sat/Sun with wind :puzzled:

Just scored my first buggy today. Got it off the local Kijiji for $200. Aluminum, custom built, light as a feather. Guy didn't want it taking up space
in his garage anymore!

swyper ... did you grab any of the kites that guy had???
Another option for seat is www.buggybags.co.uk ....
don't know what shipping costs are like from UK, but he has templates on his site for the different buggy brands that you can paint and he then makes
your custom color seat..... they do some real good work .... done some for PTW buggies too
Rocfighter ... got any pics of that Vmaxx you beat by a half hour on??

hey bigbear, nope I didnt get the kite, it was a Beamer 5m but he wanted 350 for it. I'm sure he'll probably relist the kite by itself on kijiji, his
garage looked like it was overflowing
Gonna see if I can get a used seat first...surely someone must want to upgrade their seat!

Swyper, I got a couple seats that I made and use for testing purpose that would work well. Basically there's nothing wrong with them. I just used
them once or twice on a buggy for demo purpose so can't sell them as new. $40 plus shipping would take care of it.

This is an old Libre V-Max. I think I was the third owner back in 99. Today it has a fresh gloss-blue powdercoat and equiped with a new VanTech BW
seat, rail pads, and splash guard.
Shoudl be good for another 15 years!

The seat comes off easy so make sure to take if off each session and give it a good cleaning and store it inside. I rinse mine off with a garden hose
to get all the sand off and then just hang it up to dry. Good as new the next day!!

Anyone mind if I ask some basic buggy 101 questions?
I am wondering why the rear axles are put so far behind the seat? Is it just to offer longer WB incase the kit gets behind you a bit so you do not
flip backwards?
I could just see moving the seat back toward the rear axle for us tall guys to still have a short wheels base that handles quicker? I think for some
of us that are not heavy fabricators, it might be easier to build with a seat location farther back as well? though it would put more load on those
back wheels..?:puzzled:

you need your weight near the center for stability. If you get load up the rear ,you make it easier to slide your front end around.
