Electric Flexboard Project
Hello All,
I bought a used Haize Flexboard on this forum to use with my kite wing as well as electrify. When I bought it people asked me to keep them informed
on my progress and I have started a thread here: http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=31...
I just started the thread so not much info there but some CAD design work, but I have all my items in transit and plan to start building soon...
On another note, if this works I will be selling my MBS mountainboard..Its one of the pro models so if anyone is interested let me know...
Take care,
Marc

Sounds cool .. was thinking about doing the same to my Haize. How are you gonna control the difference in speeds using 2 motors on 2 wheels going
into a turn?

You might want to drop an email to info-AT-aeolianmotor.com and see if they have a DXF file or similar that they can send you.
HumboldtRc has threads on both the SurfingDirt and HobbyKing forums for his setup.

Oh god, now landboards too! You guys just need to send ALL your kites to me ,you are not REAL kiters.... Any self respecting kiter would cringe at
the very idea of motorizing a buggy or board. They already have motorized buggies and boards available.

to Weldngod :
be reinsured, it's not about dumping our kites nor to mess around on the kite spots but making an accessory (basically, arm+hubwheel+battery+control)
that you can install in 3 mn on your favorite board to keep using it during our working week ...
I will appreciate if you can advice satisfying electric boards (not too heavy or bulky) as I can't find one ...

Buy a long board, two kicks and you can cruise for a block, and once you learn to pump it. You don't even have to kick again for a good while.
All the good boards are gasoline powered that I have seen, but loud as heck.

To Weldngod : The problem is not what you or me can ride, we are both well trained and equipped (the simple fact of being a PKF member proves it )... but there are plenty of people that are uncomfortable with skateboards ... and
are still looking for a light vehicle (scooter or board)...
That is why, at flexboardz, we are thinking that, if our boards are more "user friendly" for sports applications, their qualities (stability, wobble,
grip) will also be appreciated for urban applications...
For these reasons, we are looking around at what can be done today with modern electric motors and battery and also supporting our clients that are
working in the same direction ( here a kit to transform a board into a E-flex).
