Need a board!
I've been static flying for about two years now and I figure that it's about time to learn what I can REALLY do.
I looked around the For Sale section and didn't really find anything.
If anyone has a board that they are looking to sell let me know.
P.S. I am not looking for anything expensive, just a decent beginner board.
Thanks,
Drew

Good price on the Core 95. The only way to go much lower is to snag one of the GI AK 103 Skates from awindofchange. All caveats regarding skate trucks apply.

save up your loot, atb's aren't cheap. And ya get what you pay for in this sport. Keep lookin', and do some research. You don't wanna buy a board that
is going to break the second time you get on it!:dunno: If you are gonna kite atb , you will want channel trucks instead of skate trucks.

I know everyone says skate trucks are a no-no, but I've been loving mine. I swapped from barrel/cone as my bushings to barrel/barrel, and have
enjoyed the results. Way easier than swapping a bionic cube.

@shehatesmyhobbies
I know what you mean, PKF is the only forum for me :D
@erratic winds
I'll check that place out, only problem is that I think most of the people are in UK and I don't know how expensive shipping can get from UK to US.
But ill definitely be looking into it.
@indogo_wolf
Thats about the price range I was looking for.
Would it be something good to start with?
Right now I don't have much money but I should have a better paying job within the next 2 months.
I'm mainly looking for something decent to get some practice on before winter.

I did national searches on craigs list and found one in Arizona where my sister lives. I got a great deal that way. Search google for a search
engine that searches Craigs list nationwide or get an app for you phone.

@stetson
Thats a GREAT idea, I didn't know you could search craigslist nationwide but i got it figured out now.
Should I be looking for an ATB or a MTB?
Or does it not really matter for me?

Not a lot of glamour, but it's a good board. HOWEVER.... I would worry about that site.
:puzzled: :puzzled: :puzzled: :puzzled:
Libre Sprinter Buggy - $235
HQ Matrixx - $500 ($100 shipping)
Trampa Skate Style Superstar Hubs All-Terrain Board - $175
The Flexifoil Hunter should sell North of $300 new.

"ATB" "MTB" "Mountainboard" "Landboard" are all likely search terms. In some cases, "ATB" will pull up bicycle as that acronym has been associated
with mountain bikes for a while.

Yeah, when I saw that it was a ""Flexifoil"" for that cheap I started to think that it was probably a knockoff or a scam.
Figured I'd check with you guys before I did anything.

when I used it I was looking for my MBS Core 90 that I left at the park. I would search for mountainboard, landboard, Ground Industries, and MBS. I
looked quite a bit on ebay too. I found the killer deal on craigslist though. Leojim has an app that alerts him with any craigslist local listing
with kite in it. He found some local stuff cheap that way too.

GI is a beefy unit. def the heavy of the 2, the trucks can take it.
the MBS lighter for sure and slightly more nimble from the deck width and skate truck set up.
MBS is better free style type with skilled lighter touch , well controlled landings with <160# rider.
GI will do speed better and soak up power a little better, it may set a little lower.
over 180# the GI will fit better and give solid entry level with a ton of range for skill development.
