No events as such in January that I know of - however, there will be the Dillon Snowkite Open in March I believe. Always a huge hit with the locals. Hundreds of snowkiters on Lake Dillon.

2012 Dillon Snow Kite Open

Haven't had the wind to get out, except thurs, and I was working and then had family dinner. Manged to get out for a hour yesterday at clement, first time in weeks it had been blowing! Will defo give you a ring next time it's blowing!
