Tons of kite for the price. Sometimes I wish I still had mine. Great looking kite as well!

We still have our 9 and 12m Rangers. Great kites (modded). The 12m is a serious performer in pretty damn light winds and has very Flysurfer like glide.

Really a darkhorse as far as kites go.

Mood: They're ALL good ideas. Right up until they become BAD ideas.

Anyone thinking along the lines of a Frenzy would probably find this quite similar. Very Ozone-esque in some regards IIRC. RevPaul's brtoher has/had one I do believe. At this price I'd dive in without question. 'course I have a bit of an 11/12/13m issue on my hands already......

Hell, the bar and lines were worth what he's asking.

I love that bar. It was the first bar with a stopper I ever tried and it was great.

We keep talking about selling the 9m. There's over lap with our 10m Apex2 in our open cell line up but it's not REALLy overlap because the Ranger is such a different kite. Macboy is right, it has a very "'05 Frenzy" feel to it.

But they handle gusts better than the Frenzy, turn faster and are way more stable. At least mine have been.

Pulls like as well as a 15m Psycho 3 in side by side comparisons. Better in light winds than a 12m Sabre 2 as well.

There are far worse things in life I could be addicted to. Not sure that line works on every wife.

The bar is totally worth the price of admission. I'm throwing in the kite for free. I've tried the modded version and the performance upgrade is awesome for a little work. But since it I use it only for a backup, I never had the chance to properly mod it. Besides with my light frame, the wind range was very narrow for me to fully appreciate the kite.

Second the great colorset and logo on the kite, looks just great in the sky.

This thing is my go-to kite and anyone who scoops this is getting a great deal!

Too bad someone else got to it first. Thanks for the info I'll have to keep on the lookout for one of these.
