grocery store

Corey, I think you can help us with this question. Where is the closet grocery store to the Las Vegas airport? My husband, Steve and son, Erik Thompsen are flying in to Vegas, renting a car and need to stop on their way to Primm to buy food and supplies, as there are none in Primm. Thanks for your help. there is actually a small grocery store in Primm. There is a housing development for the employees, and they have a store. Couldn't tell you the street, or the name of the store, and it was kinda expensive for regular folks (I think the employees get a discount).

Thanks for your quick replies! The Walmart sound perfect. We went to the little store in Primm last year and they didn't have a whole lot and what they had was very expensive! Appreciate your assistance! karen

Click on the link below and check out store #2. It's the one I shop at when in Vegas and is a superstore.

Walmart
(the yellow star on the map is the airport)

when you leave the airport, youll end up on tropicana ave. turn right on tropicana. go maybe a mile and a half or two. right on the corner of maryland parkway and tropicana there is an albertsons grocery store. it will be on the southwest corner(the one closest to you as you approach the light)you can get everything you need there. when your done, simply go the way you came to get to the I-15, turn left on the freeway and your on your way to buggy town.

I just talked to a buddy, Joe Irby. He confirmed that as of yesterday, the Walmart store that Channin posted is NOT a Super Walmart. If you want groceries (and ice chests, lawn chairs, ect) go to store #2 on the site below...

Walmart

No problem Channin (Shannon?), it happens to the best of us. ;) Fortunately Joe knew where the other one was so it was no problem getting there.

I just want to add to those going to store #2 to be sure to go back the same way you came when leaving, otherwise it can be hard to find an on-ramp to 215W.
