First snowkite session of the season in New England.

Rode for 4hrs on 6" of heavy wet snow. Then the wind went nuts.

Oct.30th? Not bad.

No video? Snow cover in Oct is EPIC. We got nothing but rain and sleet here on the Jersey Shore. Kober is an hour north, same elevation, and got 7-8" of wet heavy snow. Trees down everywhere and 650,000 lost power.

Glad to see you get a long session in early. What big open area did you ride?

I have a little vid. I'll put it up tomorrow.

They got 15" just south of here and 27" down at the lower end of the state.

I can't believe the weatherman kinda got it right! We rode in some local fields. I could hear snowmobiles off in the other fields.

It was kinda wierd snowkiting while surrounded by leaf covered trees. Yesterday I was doing trail work and sweating my A$$ off.

The snow south of us really did a number on the trees. Especially when the wind spooled up.

Awesome start to winter! Having leaves on the trees makes it even more so!

We got lucky. They got hammered down south (27-31") and they have more leaves than we do so they have trees taking out power left and right.

Felt bad for all those without power while we were cruising the white before November.:wee:

Looks like you guys are having a hell of an early season!

I am sooooo envious of you after reading this. I drive by many fields every day and hold visions of them with a foot or more of snow and drifts. The winds have been blowing and the temps are dropping let it snow already.
