Kind of a neat twist on the old Secura Fix AKA "Pocket Copters" from way back. The construction looks a little sketch for my purposes tho.
I don't AT anymore now that I kite and all my AT stuff is used mostly for getting back to my anchors if I get skunked way out. Several thousand miles
of ski edge wear looks like it would take it's toll on the toe hindge of those things and failure would come up eventually.
We use mostly Fritcshe FR's or MArker Dukes here. Both have the pivots relatively protected. I prefer the Duke as it flexs less like an AT binding
and rails like it's Alpine breatheren. As a true AT binding it's a dog. Heavy, hard to activate etc. but on the kite it's great and I've only had it
fail once in a crash.
But the MFD thing is pretty cool. I always like the feel of a alpine binding over an AT binding. I wonder how wide it is. I wonder if it's narrow
enough to fit on a speed ski.
