A Laugh for my Canadian friends
Saw this in the paper yesterday and thought you might get a laugh out of it:
Should Canada replace the beaver as it's national symbol?
Not a bad idea. Afterall, how can a country obsessed with hockey have a mascot with teeth!?!:singing:

An adult Canadian beaver can slapshot a hockey puck in excess of 115 mph with his tail. :o
Faster, if you have pissed him off. ;-) True story.

Woe be to the mortal that underestimates the power of the beaver's tail.... angry or otherwise.

Well just as I predicted, I would end up in this thread without any input of my own! See I'm not Canadian and never played hockey but I have been to
a dozen or so professional and minor league games. I liked the part about the slap shot abilities of the beaver. Maybe I need to practice that
myself! :saint::P
