quiver suggestions?

Looking for some advice. I still consider myself a new landboarder and snowboarder. Weight 175. Ride in gusty Midwest winds and usually from 7- 20 mph. No jumping yet but hopefully soon. Quiver is 14m frenzy, 12m Ss ranger and 8m access. Thinking of older 11m frenzy in place of ranger.... The ranger is great if I have cosistent winds, but that does not happen too often. Also I really like the top hat release on frenzy and access. Finally if i get lower cosistent winds I seem to go with the 14m Freonzy over Ranger. Appreciate any feedback. I was out today with access xc and had my best session yet so considering more gear. Ed

you could try a 10m flysurfer, pulse2 or psycho.

or, really throw things up and try a LEI - it would be an interesting experience if you've never tried one. On the landboard, I am really impressed with the range of my old 9m LEI - Naish Shockwave - great in gusty junk but in a different way than arcs. Doesn't quite get that low though. Shortly after the 9m shuts off, my 12 foil doesn't get me too much more either though.

If you want to keep the 14, I would suggest selling the 12 and the 8 and going with a 10 and a 6 (or 5 or 4) combo.

There is a lot of overlap between a 14 / 12 and 10 / 8 combo which you are seeing as you say you go to your 14 whenever you can as opposed to your 12 if conditions aren't ideal.

Maybe a 10 Frenzy and 6 Access combo or a 10 and 6 Yeti (which is like a cross between a Frenzy and Access).

Depower Quiver: 14m Gin Eskimo, 10m Gin Eskimo III, 6m Gin Yeti, 4.5m Gin Yeti (custom bridle and mixer)
Fixed Bridle Quiver: MAC Bego 400, JOJO ET Instinct 2.5 & 5.5, Lil Devil 1.5, Sting 1.2
Rides: Ground Industries

ya, although, might be best to swap out that mid range kite first and see where your high wind kite leaves you, especially if you don't go frenzy for the mid size.

In that wind range you should be able to cover all of it with the 14m frenzy and 8m access no????? Not sure what year your frenzy is but it should be good up to at least 15mph and then the access should take you to 25ish????? From there you could ditch the Ranger and use the money to acquire a 6m access that will take you into the 30's if you wanted. Tough decisions, if you're like the rest of us you'll never be completely satisfied with your quiver. Finding the need to shake it up a bit from time to time. Let us know how it goes for you.

what I fly/ride:
19m Flysurfer Speed 2 SA
12m Flysurfer Speed2
6m Ozone access xt
1.5m Ozone imp trainer
144cm Airush Switch
152cm lib tech skate banana
MBS Pro 90
Jereme Leafe Pro 95

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I everyone confirmed that there is no perfect answer. I will just keep watching the "for sale" section. Looks like more kites are in my future. I do think that as I get more experience my comfortabel wind range will grow for each kite. This may also help out!
Thanks again! Ed
