I had a great time today guys,... Good chili, new friends, and way better wind than here in ATL... That was the first time I've scudded with that beamer, it was SWEET! Wish I had gotten there earlier!

I know you guys said the wind was not so great, but it was better than it is here. I really had fun!

Thanks for the buggy lesson Pokite! Let's see how long it takes before I can convince wifey to let me snatch up a used bug ;)

Davis hooked me up with a boatload of stickers... will be adorning car and helmet soon!!!

It was great to meet and fly with some kite-folks!!!

P.S. I have a short vid of Don (I think it was Don) crossing the field in his Bug,... if you want, I can post it.

Thanks to very ones for the help and freindship. It was great fun with new friends. Great wind even if it was flakey. Learing to fly hard wind gives you good kite control experince for when the wind is good you know how to handle the kite. Also help for the time the winds gust in the nice flat winds day you know what and how to get the kite out of of the danger zones. i thisnk most inland spots are like that. Thank do putting it togther Chris we have to do it agnin. Also we have to get out to Sullivan Island and try it thier aslo Don. It had good to watch people who know what ther doing. It was good to try new things and build condfiince in my kite flying skills.

Agin thank to all that was there it was a compleat blast.

I just want to say thanks to Chris for a successful "Chili Run II"
It was a great day for the sport. Thanks, your a great host!

To all the guys and gals that came out thank you also. It was a special day
for me. I enjoyed meeting all that came. Great chili and cornbread was a treat.

Flying at OOBE Field is always a challenge and everyone was able to master the field,
it was a great show. Was nice to see such an array of kite gear. Great education.

Hope to meet up with you all again, see you at JIBE or Sullivan's Island in the
near future? Don you sold me, I'm coming over real soon. Maybe Pokitetrash
and I can make it a weekend trip. Soliver any time you can get away from
"Hot Lanta" give me a call, always up for a road trip. "Kite folks" are good for your sou.l

All in all, this crazy old mad man had a wonderful day at OOBE Field and will look
forward to next year. My aiken cheeks are really aiken today. A small price to pay for
good fun and fellowship.

So I got to fooling around with imovie today, and threw together something with the limited footage I shot Saturday. I was too busy having fun and learning stuff to get much footage, but here's what I've got.

Ashli (AKA: "Wifey") hoped I would get one of you guys to film me a bit,... once again, too busy,... maybe next time.

If any of you don't like bluegrass,... sorry.

Once again, thanks to all of you more wise kite-folks for sharing with this newby, and a big thanks to Chris for organizing it all.

Enjoy the flick,
Spencer

You do a "New Reply" to a message or edit an existing message. There are a row of buttons on top and the one on the right that looks like a tv screen is your tool for this. Click the button and enter the youtube video id number (it can be found in the hyperlink for the video) then post your reply/edit and its in there. The id # for the above video is (uGJkD0HQFvc).
