jekyll island pheast (video)
http://vimeo.com/33264538
Angus, Don, Nate and myself taking in the breeze at Jekyll Island.
this is how it went down. Don doing it! Glad see u back on water looking great. Nate, Don and i were all on 9's.
the look is a side shore, ENE 20-30mph with a falling tide and current to go with it in the same direction.
Angus in the buggy while i was on the ATB, working this tight side shore spot.
the video is a bit long the first 1/3 is the water stuff, the next 1/3 is me on the ATB, Angus in the buggy the last 1/3 .
had to do sasha just got impatient in the end of the edit but it works.
enjoy

thanks,
forgot to mention, it demos a vegas hub blow out. as to why these wheels are not compatible with kiting. that was the last one in the 60 hour
range could have been a little more but the others went quick <30 hours .. crossairs drop in to allow the flow to continue deep into the triple
digits hours.

That kite in the buggy with Angus was his trusty Rage. He has had it as long as I've known him. It's his last kite to take out in high winds. If
there is too much for it, he packs it in.

It looks like you got to use that marvelous onshore wind this past Sunday. As usual I found myself cursed with responsibilities. I decided
to not go. It was so painful. :-(

Made it there once... was a great beach for water or land. Next time will have to bring a telescope for at night. Far enough away from the big
cities along with the Atlantic to offer a terrific view of the sky.
(and the beach is smooth and fast when the tide is out)

Thanks Chad. Great shots of Nate carving the surf at high tide after he launched with the surf practically in the dunes. Great to see Don on the
water again, too. Later with a bit of room, Chad and I started to work the surf-line, timing our outbound tacks with the receding waves and then
racing to the dunes with the waves on the back wheels. Splish-Splash, we was takin' a bath. With Chad's GoPro on my head, I tried to hang close to
him as he was boosting some nice airs, but it's hard to see with these quick clips and broad focus.
Yep, it's my Rage 3.5, with more miles on it than grandma's Chevrolet. When it's too much for that, then time for a beer.
Thanks guys for coming down and dragging me out.
