Great link!!!

I pasted it in an email to our CEO.

What an amazing change 5% could make in all sectors if companies would commit to that small percentage. We need more lists that cover more products!!!

The only downside is the politicians that would start fighting to take credit for the jobs creation.

About 1% more expensive to create a 100% made in America house, that is awesome! There should be a study like this for other structured purchasing sectors.

Too many kites, boards, and etceteras.

Yeah...Maryland State building budgets are supposed to give 1% for Art, so maybe they could also source domestic building materials also.

I now have to laugh. Some state politicians are touting a new building bill that they swear creates a load of new construction worker jobs for Maryland. (but I bet all the real cheering will be heard from below the Rio Grande!) :frog:

What burns me is when government funds are spent to buy foreign made products when American made is available. Can't remember the details, but millions were spent recently on a government funded building project and Chinese steel was chosen over US made steel to save a couple bucks. That's just plain wrong. :(

I think that all city, state, and federal projects should use Made In America products, they are the ones trying to help get this economy out of this giant hole it's in, and get people working again. Make it a requirement, more people would have jobs

Thanks Lad for sharing!
