Sounds great to me. Now I just need a weekend with some wind. Where do you normally go buggying at?

Welcome to the forum!! How long have you been flying? Did you just move to junction city? That is a ways from Hutch. I would suggest on the next
nice day we all go out the airport at Herrington to buggy. That is best place I have found around here to buggy.
Eddie buggys mostly near the water plant in the middle of town, I think. I have flown with him. It is a good place. But I am not sure it would be
worth an hour and a half drive!
The best thing to do around here is look for an old airstrip or abandoned WWII airfield.

I would love to go out to Herrington on a nice day. Don't worry about me having to drive a hour and a half, if I get a chance to fly and hang out
with people it will be well worth it. I just need to find the right weekend.
I just got stationed at Ft Riley in Nov, so I haven't been living in Junction for very long.
@Thrash, no recent accidents and none as bad as the one in CA. FYI, I have scars from that one but still the most fun I have ever had with my clothes
on.

Were you able to set up the power-kiting program for the Army? (If I'm wrong in my memory, sorry!) I live not too far from Fort Drum in up-state NY.
My son was working on post for a while, and I would give him rides to work, then fly the recreational field next door when it wasn't being used. I
had a few soldiers show an interest, but was unable to connect with the right people to set up a program. Just wondering about the Army's position on
the whole idea. I find flying one of the best stress relievers around!
