That kite had me 20 mph faster than the next fastest guy last weekend. The wife was on a 12m and hucking her carcass all over the place like it was her job.

I stayed on the ground myself.

I wonder how this kite is going to fare compared to the fastest of race kites including the Vapor on the lakebed. It is so thin, it must like going fast.

I think it depends on what the rider chooses. A 12m Phantom 2 obviously isn't going to do the work as a 11.2m Vapor. Maybe I'm blaspheming here but they've been pretty fast for me so far. I don't doubt that a phantom 2 will go as fast as you need it to and can hold it's own against a pure bred race rig.

If someone wants to send me a Vapor to do a side by side test I'd be happy to oblige.:roll:

I'd love to hear the office banter between Michel and Pepijn about who's kites are best! I have a 5.4m and a 4.5 in the mail if you want to get some perspective. I think this pudding proving will go on for awhile for sure.
