Buggy time
Howdy buggy land, I live in Reno. I missed the NABX this year super bummed. Any way I was wondering if any one out there is interested in Bugging at
different lakes more north. More toward Reno, like the Black Rock or another really really good lake Blue Wing. Or is there any other people who buggy
these lakes and would like to hang out in the wind this summer.

Hello action jackson. My name is taken? You must be thinking of Corey in Vegas. What would you like to know about Bluewing dry lake? It's about 10
miles west of Lovelock NV and aboout 90 miles east of Reno. This lake rules. Every time I go there it's windy and the surface is great! The surface is
smooth and hard with a very low dust factor. And as a bonus about 25 miles east is the Black Rock desert. Bluewing is about 15 miles by 5 miles in
area.

Hey there Corey. I live in Los Gatos, CA. When I visit my Dad, who also lives in Reno, I bring my buggy along. Last summer I got the combo to
MisFit Flat. MisFit is a private dry lake near Dayton, about 30-45 minutes from downtown Reno. The guy who owns the 4 mile² drylake also builds and
races landsailors.
The lake is pretty close to you. It is a bit on the dusty side, but since motor vehicles are kept off the lake bed, it is real smooooth.
I'm looking to head out your way when it dries out a bit. Drop me a line and maybe we can meet up this spring/summer?

I ussually buggy in the Black Rock Desert. My brothers into high power rockets. I'll watch the rockets for most of the day then when the wind picks up
I'm gone. The rocket events are always fun and entertaining to watch while waiting for the wind
