Well, the time has come to prepare for the coming Phantom IIs. I'm keeping the Venom 13m I recently got and the 12m Phantom is spoken for but everything else is on the block. Spring winds are on the way, so pick up an arc or 2 to start or fill in your quiver. All prices are + shipping.

this one needs some loving and should be considered a project kite. This is what I paid AJ for it so just getting it to someone that can bring it back to life.

AJ flew his Orange 15m Venom proto w/ me at Treasure Island...he musta had a virtual museum of PL protos! (including NPWs).

I'm sure I'll be getting some Income Tax refund booty for some of these as well. Barnes, I have a layaway plan too till the Phanny IIs come in! :wink2:

I highly recommend the 8m VII in leu of a 9m phanny. I have both and the VII is a great kite for desert winds. About the same wind range, but I think the 9m phanny goes upwind a bit better (but not much)

U don't see many 8ms on offer out there!

AJ once told me something about the 8m V I (I ~think~ he said V1, and not the V2...but then again...) :puzzled:

He just said it had some "bad ju-ju" associated with it - no specifics.

I never saw that confirmed anywhere else.
Maybe a notable field tester had a bad experience with it...

This 8m VII was my 1st arc. I got it from beamerbob after nabx 2011. He just got it back from me not to long ago..... If the stars were in alignment this 8m VII would be heading north again...... It is an awesome kite. Very fast. Someone needs to remove this temptation and snatch this 8m VII up quick....

Yes, I did just get this back not long ago. I was setting up my arc quiver for the long haul not knowing when the Phanny IIs might come out. Now that they look imminent, I'm pulling the rip cord and setting up for a PII quiver. So I've owned this 8m twice, Pokitetrash sold it to me who bought it used from someone else. I imagine the little time G00f has flown it is more than anyone else since it still looks and smells new.
Oddly I bought it back without the bar then wheeled and dealed the bar back a month later, so the bar and kite are a pair again.
