I'm using Google Maps to find a good buggy spot near my house. Jones Beach Long Island, NY looks good. Has anyone been there? Rye, NY was cool but
the beach was very small.

Hey NeilDeans7 - You'll want to stay away from Jones Beach. I live on Long Island and it is my understanding that kite flying of any kind is
prohibited in all NY State Parks (I know of a few people who have been ticketed for flying in State Parks on Long Island). But- the sand there is
very soft anyway, not much of a loss.
What you want to do is come buggy with us at Long Beach, which is also here on Long Island, NY. At low tide there is plenty of hard pack and with a S
or SW wind it's a perfect spot. Check out my YouTube vids (link in my signature below) for plenty of video of us ripping it up at Long Beach. Here's
a link to our meetup location: http://www.google.com/maps/ms?msid=214206214822938416340.000...
We were out for about 4 hours last Saturday and had an awesome session. We'd love to have you join in the fun! U2U me for my cell #
Here's a really cool vid that PhotoMatt shot when he was out with us one time:

Kober, Im interested to hear what you find in NJ. I was going to check out Thompson Park, near Brookdale College (might be enough space). I think
I may also give long Beach a try.
