Nice! My son Morgan and myself had a beautiful blue sky day on the lake today , 50 degrees F. smooth wet conditions. My home made blades are a little wierd , as I go into a power slide they will scrape and chatter and then set up this gut and chest shaking vibration that is extremely uncomfortable. Does anyone have similar issues with buggy blades.

MG-kites: Marvelous pictures, nice to see that you have a good ice season down in Holland!

Snowspider: You need a solid buggy and robust ice blades firmly attached to the buggy. The first few sessions, when I was new to ice kiting, I had some issues with my blades when powersliding; the bolts were gradually getting loose due to the big forces. I am now attatching the blades more thoroughly and I have no problems.

On Sunday I went to Ice Cup Sweden 2012 which took place on a sea bay in Stockholm. However I could not compete since I was the only one with ice buggy. Anyway I had great fun kiting on the bay; in the sixth photo in the link you see the buggy. There was about 5 cm fluffy powder snow on top of smooth black ice; very good conditions for ice blades. Here's a video from the same bay last winter:
