The Onion graduated from comedy satire articles to film a while back very successfully. They say some some things read funny but don't transfer to
film...but when the writing is this good....it's brilliant in all media expressions.
These actors are all very good and sell each piece so well. This is what you call 'professional satire'.
The great thing about satire-besides it's relevant humor-is it's ability to critique society and make social commentary in a most entertaining
and lasting way. Sometimes it's pure fun...sometimes it may help effect change.
Historically a very important part of civilization.

The Onion News Network pretty much beats out anything SNL, Daily Show or Colbert dishes out.
They use actual, former anchors and professional sets - and often fool unsuspecting people badly.
And satire is sometime the truth!
A hilarous favorite from years ago - seemed outrageous back then...prophetic now!
