Cleaning a kite

This maybe out there already but I can't find it..............
How would you go about cleaning a soiled or mildewed kite? I wouldn't want to ruin a perfect kite so I'm asking :)

Usually, just rinse with fresh water, brush lightly and hang to drip dry. Do not put it away wet or you will get more mildew. Try to avoid detergents as those can have an adverse effect on the coatings used to seal the kite.
