I've never heard of this model. Seems like Pulses go for less than this?

made in 2006 I believe, I'll double check the tag on it.
I'd prefer Pulse to this one, you're right.
I'm trying to position it as an alternative for folks who look at HQ Apex.
Comparing these two, I'd still choose an older Flysurfer model - the new Flysurfers seem to be a continuous move to close cells.

There's a guy overseas that likes these exclusively for his snowkite school. After seeing a 6m my friend's son bought I'd stick to a newer model like the Pulse too with more depower throw. Sorry. But hey - like I said, that guy overseas is all about the Cools. Try posting on Foilzone's for sale section - he may see it there. If I can find the info from when we bought the Cool I'll let you know via U2U.

FYI - we paid half this for the 6m Cool2 and the kite was literally flown twice.

Great kite, but you probably won't have much luck without cutting the price in half

It's a good kite despite the age of it!

Still best of luck to you, still think the price is way high for a kite that is on the bad half of a decade old, no matter what kite, no kite holds value after a decade, not even flysurfers. I enjoy my rookie2 despite its age, but to sell it I could not ask such a price.

I was thinking the same thing. If you priced this at half what you are asking it would sell right away. :bigok:

If someone can point me to a Psycho3, still crisp and maybe a littly dusty from being sitting on a shelf for 5 years, for half price I wouldn't bother about its age much. I'd grab it and go celebrate. The problem is they go patched, used and abused for $600 and folks grab it.

How about a Pulse 2 8m for 600$ http://www.powerkiteforum.com/viewthread.php?tid=22340

Or a pulse2 8m for 550$? http://www.powerkiteforum.com/viewthread.php?tid=22149

For what it's worth I would not compare the COOL and the PSYCHO3 at all, in any way. Very different animals!

How about a 2012 6m access (as close as we are going to come to a direct match for kite vs kite despite brand and age) http://www.powerkiteforum.com/viewthread.php?tid=22412 for $650?

Your price is up to you, we can only encourage you towards a quick sale at a lower price.

The first Pulse had me thinking about it :)
Let's do this...you guys set DaytonaJoe on half-price idea and I'll go buy the kite :)

Cool and Psycho are no match that's for sure...I just wanted Psycho3 badly long time ago and still have some emotional attachment to the great design job gyus did.

But I'd say cool and psycho3 have similarities:
- both designed and made by top of the line manufacturer
- both are years ahead of competition
- both were quite expensive in their production years
- both have great bar/lines setup and safety features

back to great design...a little bright yellow ARC 130 would have way more value for their happy owners like I am, than for folks who choose a kite just because of its price.

I have never thought about selling it.
I paid too much for it. I think it could be an example of right buyer will pay for a unique kite. ( then regret it )

I think I am getting confused. Are you looking for a trade or bashing the T-arc?

neither trade or sell. I already have one and as for you such a nice kite has a lot of value. I did regret purchase a bit when I got to relaunch point :) but like to have it and fly it once a year or so.
I guess it's a little piece of life and history now, isn't it?

The point though was there are folks who rather regret buying bad brands and as you said for rare kite there'll be a rare buyer.

In cool sports there's so many unique buyers :)

We can keep talking about it and talking about it, but you'll note not one nibble at your current price.

We all have the ones we love and we'll probably never get rid of, or regret when we do.

Yes it is.
Clean and like new.
Don't settle for HQ, go for the quality wings people trust their lives to (Skywalk/Flysurfer paragliders are great as well)
