Pretty new to this power kiting lark - having loads of fun though.

Got a budget Symphony HQ 1.8 softfoil kite. On the trailing edge it has two loops about a quarter of the way in from each side. Will this enable me to add brake lines and make it a 4 line kite? Can't find anything about it on the web - please help!

HQ's Symphony series kites are typically 2 liners although the 3.3 and 4.1 boast the possibility of converting to a 4 liner.

Perhaps the loops on your 1.8 are also there for 4 line conversion, however they are most likely for tails or something. Give it a try and see what happens. Let us know the results.
