Larger surf/ skimboard question

Is it feasible to think that you could kite using a hydra 3 on a larger surfboard or skimboard relatively easily, or does the hydra still not have enough umph except in higher winds?

What about in 15-20mph winds. 30 may be pushing it.

If you had a SUP you could go out with the Hydra 3m. Not sure how good you'd be able to go upwind, but otherwise it would be do-able. Of course it all depends on how much you weigh. I had a buddy whose wife weighed 90 lbs and her go to kite was a 3m so it's largely dependent on how much you weigh.

Getting moving is very doable . Getting upwind is another story. Even with ideal wind and weight I am not sure the Hydra would be much good at upwind.

Accept that you won't get upwind and enjoy the ride ! You will still learn tons !
