Good question shaggs. We think we are holding kite festivals all the time, but we don't tell anyone so it doesn't get too crowded.
All of the kiters and people who sell gear and give lessons down here seem to do their own thing. The most popular spots are also one or two hours out
of town. Maybe Canmore will put on a Spray Lakes Winter Festival.
The kiteboarding crowd does get together at Keho for long weekends and the
Force 10 Boardsailing Club has put on a Beginner's Weekend .
Always open to suggestions for our own festival.
