Hey guys, U2U me with what you got! I want something obviously light for riding around being pulled by my kites. I am in NYC.

Thanks!

Rough height and weight info will help as far as getting you sorted for a suitable board.

There's a pretty minty look MBS Comp 16 with Ground Industries Sherpa Board Bag for sale in Manhatten:

Surprisingly nothing in Northern NJ.

Fair number of MBS boards on eBay, but not much in the way of screaming deals.

Not airy light (although Phreerider seems to be fine with jumping with them).... interestingly 2 Flexboardz are up for grabs.

Yeah I saw the COMP 16... a bit pricey though... For that price, I would get a fresh comp 90 from amazon.

I think part of the reason for the pricing is that they are bundling it with the Sherpa Bag. If you didn't need or want the bag, I expect you could sell it on PKF and have a fair number of takers. Not perfect, but one of the nicer board bags out there.

The Matrix trucks on the Comp 16 would allow more adjustment that the Vector Trucks on the Comp 90.

Sadly, mountain board prices spiked towards the end of 2010 and the number of entry level boards thinned out (partly do the the demise of GI, but also other factors).

EDIT: GaryDog is selling at Comp 16 a la carte for $200, here:
