Open for debate?

http://www.mikebrownsolutions.com/fish3.htm

This is a great noble idea and humanity could only wish for such an invention. I don't want to be a a pessimist on this subject however I am a bit of a realist.

Fuzzy science can make anything appear to work, when in reality the principals disallow the possibility.

God help us if we do not solve this soon IMO

theres also a guy in australia that did the same that and he has been visited by certain people that have been telling him to keep his mouth shut. I know that he has been using a water fuel cell to run his car for something like 12 years.

One of my hero's is nik tesla from the early 1900's. He has a bunch of inventions that we still use today. One of them that is crucial that got blocked was his idea of getting energy strait from the fields around earth. he was told strait up by i think Edison that "that works great but we can't meter it". so much BS. If you are really interested in ideas like that and want to see and idea that was taken off of the market check out the documentary "who killed the electric car"

Amen Fly... Tesla's always been my, if you could talk to any famous guy dead or alive pick, biggest hero. I've read his autobiography and a few biography's on him. But yea its ridiculous how ahead of his time he was. If JP Morgan didn't pull his funding we would have had free electricity that ran wireless to everyone in the world, 100 years ago. We also would have all had personal flying machines that would have replaced cars because they would have been cheaper to build and to have run on this same free energy infrastructure.

Side note about Tesla, he loved wind when he was younger and was facinated by it. He jumped off the roof of a building with a umbrella trying to go Hooj  :singing:. Wish he could have enjoyed the kites we do today.

Side note about Edison. On his death bed he stated that he regretted turning down and ignoring Tesla. Saying he should have backed him and helped spread his far superior AC technology. Lil too late there you #@%$#! block, you stunted humanity!

Well, I'm a fan of alt nrg ideals, but also read the Skeptics sites too.

It would seem that China (maybe India) would definitely build or invent such an efficient car because of population needs and antagonism to Western economy and patents.

A lot of "Free Energy" devices haven't passed the test. The problem is that they muddle the measurements and units of input>output. It's apparently easy to get this stuff confused if you aren't an expert.

Tesla was an amazing genius - ahead of his time in many ways. But he was always looking for more investors for his ideas - so you have to allow for a little marketing hype to some of those claims!

BTW: Google about the top mileage cars in the last 25 years. Old Geos and Hondas beat most of today's hybrids! Some guys online have modded old Geo Metros and claim 60-70 mpg!

I drive a 99 Prizm (not geo model though). And I get 29-32 mpg consistently per tank. Thats mixing city and highway.

For sure lad. I was just reading an article about a guy who built and implosion device that made harmful materials disappear witjout problems ie uranium waste. It was a total hoax. But there is some really good info out there from one of the leading scientists from lockheed. He has some incredible research with the 5 major forces. One thing he discovered was a way to cancel out a percentage of gravity on an object. So cool! ive even tested some of it in the lab with my students

its a very simple concept, unfortunately Shell gasoline had Tom Ogle (the original inventor) killed. He was found on the side of a desert road with an overdose of alcohol and drugs in his system. Just hours before the cars debut.

Here it is i found it. The video that explains the whole deal.

So what you're saying is... Sony and the WMG can't stop 10-year-olds downloading their crap music and movies but gas companies can totally suppress information of the biggest revolution in the internal combustion engine since... well, ever?

Really????

In the interest of a counter opinion....

I have been trying to upload my video of a kite I invented that will fly directly into the wind.... It will change the face of kiting and sailing and put all other manufacturers out of business. It wont upload though-- I think the kite manufactures and sail manufactuers are blocking my upload.... I have to go now and check out the black helicopters circling the house....

BAHAHAHAHA! Glad you interjected a little humor into this subject, I was starting to believe it. Seriously though, I did have the idea of filling a LEI kite with helium, thinking it would auto zenith on wipeout. It had the added ability to go directly up-wind, and float/glide was easily measured in the hundreds of meters. Of course, I was threatened with serious bodily harm by several French kite designers...

The Honda Insight when released achieved 60 to 70 mpg when driven conservatively (no lead foots) when released. As you follow the history of the car in each subsequent year the economy of the car was reduced......hmmmmm.

The 2002 Saturn SL2 gets around 40 mpg.....the following year the same model lost nearly 10mpg....... I have a good friend that has one and I swear will never sell it..... he gets 38mpg in the city 44 on the highway...... bring back this engine and tech, wrap it in new lighter composites made of cheap alternatives to carbon fiber and see a 10 to 15% increase in economy....... it doesn't take extreme conspiracy technologies to obtain great mileage...... the documentary who killed the electric car is also a good one..... remember that early electric GM released in California.... the batteries were awesome...... all cars were bought back and destroyed...... now that is one that makes you go hmmmmm......

Alternate to high price carbon fiber..... lighten the vehicle.... increase the mileage....... bring back the Geo metro made with these new composites and we should see a 4 seat car that is not a hybrid easily in the 70mpg range.....

The GM Electric car started off with heavy lead batteries - they really weren't that practical. I thought the film was quite interesting, but I've also read the other side too. The people who were most enthused about the GM car in the documentary were largely enviro-conscious celebs and others who could afford such a car. There were just too many cost overrides to keep the car going.

I had high hopes for the Aptera - it looked sci-fi cool and promised incredible mileage. But the 3 wheel design wasn't so stable on the highway and it flunked the X-Prize. They claimed to have innovations in body composite assembly and such, but they didn't know how to incorporate basic automotive necessities into the car - the steering and brakes were still awful. Next thing you know, they were destroying the car bodies and trashed the inventory, GM style!

The reason mileage went down in later car models is simple - more and more safety and emission regs. Only way around that now is to find a Geo Metro, or the like, that is old enough for the "antique" category, and bypasses regs and inspections. Google how some people have modded these cars for ridiculous mileage!

The only way out of it for new cars, that I see, is Nano-Tech energy breakthrus...and the Chinese eventually coming up with an affordable econo-enviro car as they thumb their nose at the World's patents and oil dependency.

Opel had a 150mph diesel car that did 100mpg IIRC the stats... doesn't mean you can put them into production though. And like the outrageous figures that get claimed for fuel efficiency on cars these days, it's absolutely BEST CASE SCENARIO. Ask a Prius driver how #@%$#!ty their fuel economy can get when they're tanking along in the fast lane on the highway at 115kph

Another big problem to overcome is the infrastructure...
