Rained on Ivanpah This Past Weekend 3/17-18

Ivanpah is closed now and Sunshine is expected all week, the rain should improve the surface. It will dry out fast.
There now is a locking gate on the East side that BLM locks to keep people from ruining the surface until it drys. NALSA is scheduled to arrive this coming Weekend to start their event.

I hope it soaked the surface really good to reform it. There were many spots that needed to be soaked and redried in its typical hard state.
