ripped my kite


hi im new. was packing up my kite yesterday and noticed a tear about 2inches long, has anyone got a clue on how to repair it.

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday. Angus down at Coastal Wind Sports recommended FixMyKite.com. I'm sure the other folks here (with quite a bit more experience) will chime in with some good advice.

Some options:

Where is the tear located? Along a near a seam or cell wall?

Now would be a good time to do a thorough check of the kite to verify there is no additional damage.

and look inside as well. You can tear ribs on the inside and those need to be repaired if damaged.
