Looking for NPW9 in sizes 7.6 and smaller
Hi
So does anyone have a NPW9 or two sitting on the shelf they can part with? I don't have any color preference, but I am a fan of HQ kites, so a HQ
version would be a bonus.
Regards
JD

FWIW:
I don't think HQ ever made NPW 9, I was pretty sure that they were all NPW 5s.
If you can't shake any loose from the trees, you might want to:
Contact Susan (kitemaker4). She has made NPWs for other forum members in the past.
Contact Don at The PowerKitePlace and see if he has any of the Sieger Power Wings in your size range sitting on the shelf.
Contact the folks at Born-Kites. They make the Nasa Star 1 and 2 kites. John did a short review of them here. Folks that might be able to help you with Born Kites on the forum are Crash Then Swim and I believe Rip said he was friends with the owner.
ATB,
Sam

Kitemaker4 - I'll keep you in mind pending how this wanted session pans out.
Regarding HQ making NPW9s, Lad sold one a few months back (in about 7 minutes if memory serves), which prompted me to do a bit of research. I even
went so far as to find and download the original manual. They made at least 3 sizes for a couple of years.
I have a couple of NPW5s I have been playing with, but the NPW9s higher aspect ratio and anticipated increased pull and upwind ability appeal to me
for use with a landboard. The pack size and ability to fly from short lines or even handles direct are also a bonus.
Thanks for all the responses so far, and everyone else let me know if you have one you can part with.

Another offer to build if you can't find what your looking for!!
Just a word of caution, the 9b still creates a lot of lateral pull which is fine in a buggy, but on a board you may find it a handful. The last one I
built was a NPW21, now that puppy has more power higher up in the window, with a few mods the nose tucking is greatly reduced.
Blade V 4.9m & 8.5m VIP,Ozone Frenzy 11m, SS Flexifoil buggy, PL hybrid suspension buggy (PTW), MBS core 95.
homemade:
NPW 9b: 7m (Union Jack). NPW 9b HA 3m (Damien) and 10m (Jolly R). NPW21 3m, 5m (aka Zombie), 8m (Batman), 11.5m (NASA), NPW 21 HA 6.8m
The Hammers 5m, 7.2m & 12m
