Hello all.
I just had to share my first flight of the season.

I got up at 6 this morning,had a quick breakfast,packed up my gear and was at the park by 8:30.
I had to sit around for about a half hour before the wind started up and I pulled out the 7.8 Vapor.
That was great untill the wind picked up a LOT so I decided to put the 7.8 away and put up my 3.9 Viper.
As I was setting up the Viper, A guy from CTV news shows up and asks me if I would'nt mind being filmed.
Of course I said OK so he put a gopro on my helmet, one on my axle and he went out in the field and filmed as Scudley and myself tore it up.
He said he was going to push to get his producers to try and get it on the 6:00 news
He got not only us flying but the positive reactions of all the bystanders watching and a short interview with myself (I hate talking to a camera...lol)
I got about 4 hours of great quality buggying in before I had to pack up an head out.
I was a little nervous at first being that I hadn't flown or been in the buggy since last September (rain every weekend) but after a few seconds, it all came back.
Had a great day.and really looking forward to SOBB in May.

Hey that's great to read, K3.

I always feel, after a winter of no air time, that my skills may be rusty and I'm nervous about the first day of a new buggy season. Sounds like it was 'just like riding a bike' for you today! Good on'ya! Hope to see you out at GP soon!

Hey Ken, great to see you again in that clip, please tell me you will be on the playa with us this year again....you were the first PKF user who spoke to me that night just after I arrived at BBills, and made me feel welcome instantly....be great to catch up again, this is definately my last visit

Hey Carl!
I unfortunatley (despite Ron teasing me on going) will not make it to NABX this year.
We did a caribbean cruise just last October with the father inlaw and he passed away in december with cancer so I'm still paying off some bills.
Who knows....Maybe I'll make it over to your side of the world some year as I have some relatives in England.

Sorry to hear about your father in law Ken, it was lovely that you took him on that cruise, that was special.

Shame we will not be on the playa together again, but I will always have fond memories of being with you guys who made me feel so welcome, take care bro
