Up, Down, Left, Right

On my last mecca, I too I5 to 15, and that was it. trying to figure out how I want to trek this time.

At minimum I might jump over to merced rather than trucking down I5. I wasn't planning to bring any snow kite gear, and I don't know if the eastern area is snowy... I was planning to bring my mako and a wet suit, just in case. Hum.

Any ideas on a route to primm, for either pre-snow or pre-water before I make it to the pre-event?

there's also a turn off-thru Yosemite 120 to 395 coming down on the east side of the range to 58 then harpers...

I'd travel down 395 from Reno. The eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains are very scenic. Love that road, especially in the winter.

I'm sure there is some snowkiting, but I wouldn't know where. 120 will likely be closed

I'm with Steve, 395 is a beautiful drive and it drops you right where you want to be !
