Wednesday, the 4th, 7AM, the motorhome is rockin with the wind out of the SW at 23 to 28mph. Looks to be rather constant and not to gusty, short of a
lot of dust, going to be a grand day out on the playa.
Now to walk the dog, eat breakfast and play.:frog:
As soon as the wind lets up a bit the Au flag is coming down, to much drag on my flag pole. Sorry Nocando.

sorry for not posting this morning but got caught up playing.
6pm and not a soul on the playa. wind is out of the west from 23 to 45mph. to many close calls for the day and everyone is hiding out or gone to the
casino. tomorrow is to be a bit less wind, hope for the best.
funny how it feels like there is more dust in the motorhome than on the lake bed.

I see from my last post I missed Friday. Shame on me.
It was good to get out and buggy, the winds were all over the place from one direction to another and if you waited a few minutes it was from another
direction. Wind was, when it was up was 16 to 20mph and at time the playa was littered with body's waiting for a puff to head back to camp.
Today's weather is for lite winds and hot. So far it is calm and not a soul on the playa, looks like the casino is a better place to be than out on
the dusty, dry, hot, dusty, playa.
We are hoping for some wind today, will have to wait and see.

well the wind showed up a few minutes after my post. Turned out to be a great day of bugging, towards the end of the day it got a bit gusty and slowly
dropped off to nothing. The party tonight was calm and warm. Great time at dinner and the auction, if you missed it you missed a good one. See you all
next year.
