I am heading down that way tomorrow and trying to find if you can kite there? Saw some guys kitesurfing last year at this place but I intend to bring a land board. Anyone know if this is permitted?

tide dependent, i have ridden there. crowds are the stopper. the fort area was ok, don't think they like the buggy idea , though beamerbob poached a night run! we got an offshore go in the public spot, luckily it was crowd free. but i do remember it was a rough breeze. crowds have been heavy with the spring break stuff its shut me down on the land.
