Kudos to the NABX team!
Ladies & Gentlemen,
Once again you have managed to pull off another great event. I want to extend my appreciation to the NABX team for all the sacrifices they make to
ensure that the event happens each year. Many of you have no idea what it takes to put on an event in the middle of nowhere. I can assure you that
making sure all the details are covered can be mind boggling.
Dean & company are a great asset to the kiting community.
All of us that make the annual pilgrimage to Ivanpah are part of the magic too.
THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO TO MAKE NABX HAPPEN.
Warmest regards,
Dave Ruster

Yes, much agreed. The food was really good!!! Even for a vegetarian!
Was looking for the thread concerning the cost of registration this year, couldn't find it. Was going to ask the naysayers if it was worth it. You
know who you are; was it worth it? Or did you pay at all?
Best $100 I've spent.
Can't wait to see the video footage that Rob shot, and the shot from the satellite. And maybe someone has some video footage of me on the
slackline...I was the guy with the straw hat...

I agree. I can't go snow skiing (by myself) for that. Yes, I can get a lift ticket for less, but go get a crappy tray of food and see what your
total is. It costs money to put on an event like that with the tent, meals, porta pottys, insurance, BLM fees........... I wouldn't miss it for the
world. And who would consider being able to spend 5+ days with such great friends doing something so much fun not worth $100? The food itself is
worth the registration fee.
And don't forget, I can ride there anytime I want in 45 minutes. It's not the same without the friends.

Just got home. Worn out, knee hurts like hell(may have pushed it a little)and still don't know exactly where we came out, but you know what, seeing
this thread, makes it all worth it.
You know, it's funny. It really doesn't take much to get the Team going. Blake told me about someone telling him they thought the price was a little
high, they hadn't been in awhile, but paid, came and said(on thurs)they'd pay triple for this! Wow. That really makes it for us.
It means so very very much to hear that people had a good time. We do try, and work hard. It's a shame that a very very small but vocal minority can
sometime make us forget that most of you really enjoy the event.
When you do, we do too.
As we always say, it's your event. We sure don't mind input, we can take that. That's what the event survey is for.
We'll be evaluating and writing up our after event reports in the coming week.
Right now i want to thank the people of this thread for the kudos, it really means so much, so thank you!

As an Internation man of mystery....who am I kiddin'. I came over on my own this year and the first couple of days in Vegas were interesting but
lonely, but what made up for that was knowing that I was going to be surrounded by the Buggy Town community! And what a great time I had
Spending time with Dean, being part of the Cory Lama camp with Dave, seeing Jeff Howard after far too long, and Jason. The NABX team, Scotty, Garrett,
Fast Freddie to name a few and what a great job the cooking crew did, thanS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K-s Carlton and the girls. Spending time with Ken Shaw and
achieving the Out n back are memories that will stay with me.
Dean , the one problem I had back in 2000, was the lack of community in the evenings, but you have overcome this, and made this a total immersion
event....great daytimes and great evenings, what more can I say.
I know you have your knockers of the event, home turf/ Costs and things like that, but to run an event this big and with as many amenities cannot be
done on fresh air. In the UK we pay $45.00 to race for a weekend...so $100.00 for the extravaganza of NABX is .......value for money. We all have
travelling costs..but as you said to me if it's worth comming it's worth it!
Get well soon Dean, and next time we can go out for a cruise together, drinking bubbly as we go , of course!
Regards to all

My first NABX and my first buggy experience, I have done a lot of different things (motocross, waterskiing, etc.) and this was by far the most fun I
‘ve ever had!
Keep up the great work you are appreciated! See you next year!

As a NABX newbie, and as someone that has attended and/or planned hundreds of events, this event was excellent. In virtually every way you could
measure it, this was an outstanding event, an excellent time, and an amazing value. Kudos to those that invest hundreds of hours into the event. Your
passion shows.

For me this nabx was 1of the best I've been to and I'm not a newbie. The only downfall I ran into was Jeff Howard.
