Note they were not using traction kites!!! This is a paraglider. You can get lifted for a tandem ride at sunset beach by http://www.discoverparagliding.com/ But I don't think they'll drop you.

Don't try this at home.

looks cool but this is causing the paragliding association's insurance carrier to consider dropping them. I wouldn't even mention it to the people at discover paragliding. I did a tandem with them and it was great!
