You are a true Hero.
I had nothing but respect for you from afar. Meeting you and watching how you share everything including your precious time just solidified it all.
This sport in North America owes a LOT to you and I'm proud to call you a friend !
We will have to work out some way of getting you back out to NABX after the girls are married off.

Just have to rub it in dont you....just could not help yourself could you ehh, seriously though, I could see quite easilly how much your confidence
and skill level has improved within 12 months, it was amazing to see, you look a real pro rider out there now for sure, but keep going because I can
see Jared will be chasing you thats for sure.
As far as attending nabx is concerned, well certainly for the forseeable future, many things have had to be put on hold because of my last two trips,
like home improvements for a start, I have to start spending money on the house, like a new kitchen etc etc, also my daughter will be getting married
within the next two years so that also needs paying for....and Denise bless her, even though she really has zero interest in this sport has stood by
me and forsaken "normal" holidays for kiting ones, once to Dubai and twice to NABX, and so I have to consider what she would like too, although she
has really loved the people she has met, thats for sure.
The cost of such a trip is quite expensive too, and has gone up considerably within the last 12 months, add this recession we are all in, and wages,
that seem to have been going down more than up for the last few years. Who knows one day we might be able to make it happen again, never is a long
time right...so we'll see.
Keep pushing it, and fly safe....I will be watching you !!!!
BTW....I am loving the new forum name, The Wexmeister...where did that come from...lol ?

I believe if you join vimeo as a member, you can download other user's videos to your computer. Maybe Todd will know for sure.

I thought the pics and video were great, but the writeup is awesome. I hope everyone understands what a humble, wholesome, giving guy Popeye is.
You'd think he'd have his nose in the air, with all he has accomplished personally and done for the sport, but this guy is as humble and down to earth
as they come. If there is a conversation around him about how great he is, I promise he is the one arguing against himself. And you can see how
quick and thorough he is to spread the cheer to anyone that ever gave him a hand. He is definitely top drawer and I'm honored to have shared the
playa with him and able to call him a true friend.

...and just to echo what Bobby is saying, Popeye is actually a little perplexed at his fame.
Now we all know he is awesome, he's just not quite buying into it yet!
Great stuff, and wonderful aoxo~~~!
