Stolen: Ground Industries Akoni Kama board (from the Ohio area)
Not mine, but lifted from a SurfingDirt forum member's car.
Picture of BoardCustom graphic
Burton heel straps
Rubber diamond plate grip
Also stolen:
"I remembered I had my extra camera in the car also, it's gone, and so is my gps that was in the storage bin between the seats. Also remembered this
morning that my custom made chrome molly wrist guard slide gloves were in my gear bag."
Original Surfing Dirt Forum thread
If anyone sees anything suspicious posted on eBay, the Ohio area Craigslist, etc., a heads-up that I could pass along would be appreciated.

Sam

I do the nightly lock check of the cars. And I make sure my car is gutted of anything that I might feel bad about losing. No kites, boards,
electronics... nothing. I trying to convince Mary to do this too, but it's an almost hopeless case.
Over the years, there have been reports of people having large show kites, a healthy collection of custom/Masterpiece Revs, etc stolen. It's just not
worth the convenience factor.
Much rather have bags full of kites/gear that get shuttled in and out of the car.
And yes... very, very wrong. The AK is going to be hard to replace as it is no longer in production.
