Mood: Stoked for JIBE!!!

[*] posted on 20-7-2012 at 12:00 PM

It can be used on water too. In fact, it was taken out for a water run at JIBE.

Better than a Charger? That's a matter of personal preference really. I can't speak for the Charger as I don't have experience on one but the PII is sweet. It's laid back but when you want to go fast, or go up, the PII is ready to rock. Has nice lift and nice float. Goes upwind like mad! People who flew it were amazed at the angle they could go upwind (myself included). Great depower as all arcs have, good auto zenith. All around great kite.

That would be me. It's not my first choice in Phantom II size, but at this price I just had to bite.

I had hoped a 12m would be my first P2, but I used my 16m Scorpion a lot. Whether with inland, upwind in light wind or tandem the 16m was a workhorse for me. I think the 15m P2 will be a more refined design filing the same niche.

And thanks for the reminder to pay Scotty. I had to wait 'til today for the cash.

Philip

You could try telling your wife that if she already doesn't know how much this one cost. :)
