In my opinion avoiding a potetial kite shredding party would be my option.
I like wind power but those things cost mucho $$$$$$ and need constant maintanence.
How about solar panels and leave the wind to us for wind sports.

IMO protesting is a waist of time, which makes counter-protesting a bigger waist of time. so I would take that day to take my wife to a dinner and a
movie

Gathering together and protesting is often a great way to publicly declare your ignorance. I see that'll be another example of it ...
... personally, I'm dead-set against windmills but for more intelligent reasons :D
Yeah... I got a kite. Or two...

Here on Cape Cod there is a huge battle ongoing to place HUNDREDS of offshore wind turbines. I don't think it will happen before my parting of this
earth but come on....hundreds?! Really?! The friggin tourists can't handle the roads now you need to put these things in the water so they can drive
into them?
I think you should roll up to one of those bus meeting spots in your buggy and try to cram it through the bus door! You know, sort of John Candyish
manner!

I dunno, sounds like a bunch of angry donkeys just looking for something to protest. In regards to the windmills whatever thier plus's or minus's I
think they looked wicked cool.

Agreed, let me rephrase that, I act when my rights are at stake, but to counter-protest people celebrating spending tax dollars on something that is
not financially viable would be a waste of time. I would get better results taking the wife to dinner
