Not sure if this a good deal or not.
A kite shop in downtown Portland, OR has 3 brand new HQ NPW5s still in the bag. They are 4.8m and they are asking 110.00 ea. The price seems a little
high to me.
The place is called Elmers kite and banner. I think if they cut the price down a bit the kites would be good for collecting.

You didn't mention if the price was KO (Kite Only) or RTF(Ready To Fly). If the latter, it's a screaming deal.
Elmers also has an online store (although the NPW isn't currently listed on it). Have bought a couple of things from them and their prices are
generally pretty good. Nice folks to deal with too.

I think that is something like what I paid for mine RTF and shipped 3 or 4 years ago? Thing is , they haven't made them for a few years now.

4.8 seems like an awful small npw if you plan to buggy with it. Seems like a decent deal, but they are more fun to make!

the price is not bad, I would rather spend a few more bucks and pick my custom colors, with a good PKF friend, "the NPW Goddess", Susan. A shameless

good quality ones
-that size-go for 'bout 160(great private maker on PKF) to as much as 225 bucks (from Sieger NASA Wings...KITE ONLY. HQ is well made.
4.8 is has a wind window in mid teens to upper 20's- perhaps?
You can move w/ this in right winds ....:wee:
