Un-Stuck Who is in Albuquerque for the weekend?
Any one from PKF close by?
Drove past the wild fire in Colorado Springs yesterday and all I can say is wow... The site, smell and ash blowing in the wind really makes you
respect what's going on here.
Refueling helo's
This side of the mountain was on fire in spots as well
What to do in Denver except watch the lot lizzards bounce from truck to truck. *ewe*

Todd, Aurora Res. is just a few miles southeast of Denver. It is the spot for kitesurfing in the area and the Gurus hang there, worth a check out and
you probably won't even need any gear to ride.

Shoot that is what I get for not checking the forum for a couple of days. We had a get together today at Stapleton (I70 & Quebec). Wind was our
usual flaky stuff, speed between 2 and 20 and regular direction shifts (I had a 90 deg shift in about 30 sec).
Erratic winds is around here as well but he has been on the IR.

Farther east you go the better the wind gets, nearly always.
I think the best bet to find a bit o flying could be Robin@ the Rocky Mountain Kite Association seven two oh 237 two seven two seven.
Perhaps cerebrite can help? If current weather holds like it's supposed to, it should blow in Aurora tomorrow.
I know dove valley is currently closed to everything for turf repair, but there are plenty of other parks. (Static fly would be ok there, just no
atb/buggy)
In a perfect world, I'll be free of obligations and fixin to kite about 5, I would love to try to meetup. Family might delay that...here's hoping
not!
Was looking great out there today when at work out east, home on the westside we're just getting rain(finally).
Do the state a favor and wash your truck again, you are summoning rain.:wink2:

Yeah no kidding... I thought the same as you because the truck is a mess just sitting here. Looking into some sightseeing, just found out I can drop
the trailer to make it a little easier to move around.
~ Day 4.5 stuck. Don't get me wrong it's beautiful out here but if the wheels don't turn there's no money to burn.

Into the wind is up on Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, CO. They used to have a Denver store but it closed some years ago.
They are a friendly bunch and have certainly started many people down the path to windy ruin :bouncy:
Into The Wind, 1408 Pearl St. Boulder, CO 80302
Boulder is worth checking out on it's own, this is a nice stop while there. Pearl Street mall is a pedestrian mall that has quite a variety of shops,
as well as some truly ridiculous buskers.
Tide? What's a tide? Man, it's 1000 miles to any ocean.

Wow Todd still stuck.....brings back memories of my truck driving days long long ago........
I remember getting loads of Keebler to get out of Denver when I was driving.......sadly the Keebler plant was closed in 2001 when Kellogs bought
Keebler...... Keebler always got me out of Denver back in the day......
But I haven't set foot in a semi since 1987......truck driving was my post Marine Corps job.....dang....I am old....

Yep... STILL here
I did run out to Central City yesterday and have fun walking around the old gold mines. Took a tour of the city as was told of the "Oh My God" road. A
road that was the original stage coach trail into the city, eight miles of Oh MY GOD!! I drove that... Watch for it in a soon to be released video.
